A Bennington man is accused of driving while intoxicated and causing two crashes.

State police responded to the area of ​​Flensburg Drive in Pittstown on Nov. 10 around 3:30 p.m. for a report that a vehicle had struck a fence post and left the area. The driver, 27-year-old Conrad A. Graham, then allegedly crashed into a utility pole in the area of ​​Melrose Valley Falls Road in Schaghticoke.

Graham was evaluated by EMS and then arrested for DWI and traffic violations. Police found a loaded gun and a high-capacity magazine.

He was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon and illegal possession of certain ammunition feeding devices.

Graham was arraigned in Schaghticoke Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Institution in lieu of $50,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
