NORWALK, CT (WFSB) – A Bronx man has died in a crash that happened in Connecticut on Tuesday.

State police identified the man as Tiofilo Cruz, 63, of New York.

Troopers said Cruz was driving on Interstate 95 near Exit 16 in Norwalk around 3:40 p.m.

They said Cruz left the right lane and hit a concrete barrier in the right shoulder. The vehicle, a Nissan Altima, ended up on its roof.

Cruz was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone who may have seen what happened was asked to contact state police.
