I’m predicting the Eagles’ last eight games after their blistering 7-2 start

Welcome to Negadelphia and the fluctuating temperature of the Philadelphia Eagles fan base. The men and women who make up this collective can be hard to read.

In a minute, they are very happy. Next… I’m down in the pits. We only have to examine the ranking and feedback from the latest game to determine how they feel.

If you remember, I told you this could happen. Bird fans are a passionate lot, but sometimes that passion can be detrimental to the collective psyche.

The emotional health of an entire fan base is often tied to wins and losses. Every ebb and flow and outcome of every game sparks emotional roller coasters.

Sometimes you don’t know what you’re going to hear from one week to the next. No, scratch that. Nothing could be further from the truth. We knew exactly what we were getting into when we went into guard with a 2-2 record.

Panic set in. Then it came and went, despite a five-game winning streak that followed. Hope springs eternal. Coming off a blowout win over the Dallas Cowboyswe turn our attention to another divisional opponent and ask ourselves a question.

now what?

Philly has gotten over the hump. Nine games gone. There are eight left. We’re starting to understand what this team’s identity is.

Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio have learned what their guys do well and put them in positions to be successful. It was a joy to watch.

That’s probably been the biggest contributor to the Eagles’ recent winning streak. Here’s how we see the rest of their regular season play out.

Week 11 – Eagles vs Washington Commanders (Thursday Night Football)

Thursday, November 14th at 8:15pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

Philly’s next test is the first of their pair of annual clashes with the Washington Chiefs. This one comes on a short week for both teams.

Jayden Daniels was amazing. How will he bounce back from Washington’s recent loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers? We think he will play well, but he will suffer his second loss in a row.

Welcome to Beginner in Adversity!

Final score prediction: Eagles 27 – Commanders 17

Week 12 – Eagles at Los Angeles Rams (Sunday Night Football)

Sunday, November 24th at 8:20pm EST
SoFi Stadium

After the short week comes a mini-goodbye. The Birds fly west to take on the Los Angeles Rams. Honestly, we’re encouraged by what we saw from LA on Monday Night Football.

Sure, they’ll have had nearly two weeks to make adjustments between the last game in Week 10 and their meeting with Philly in Week 12. We think, however, that there are so many obstacles and the Birds are the better team.

Final score prediction: Eagles 34 – Rams 30

Week 13 – Eagles at Baltimore Ravens

Sunday, December 1st at 4:25pm EST
M&T Bank Stadium

We surrounded this one a long time ago. Lamar Jackson is one of the best QBs Philly has faced this season, and now he’s been dealt Derrick Henry.

The Ravens are the real deal and they play it at home. We fear this could precipitate the Eagles’ third loss of the season.

Final score prediction: Eagles 20 – Ravens 30

Week 14 – Eagles vs. Carolina Panthers

Sunday, December 8th at 1pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

We’re saying it with our chests (as Eagles superfan Kevin Hart would say). The Eagles have NO BUSINESS losing to the Carolina Panthers.

The Eagles are the better team. We expect them to play like it, especially considering we’re talking about a game that’s being played in Week 14.

Final score prediction: Eagles 34 – Carolina 13

Week 15 – Eagles vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Sunday, December 15th at 4:25pm EST
Lincoln Financial Field

The Eagles have never beaten Russell Wilson. In a season where they broke loose (winning at Cincinnati and Arlington), we expect them to break out another.

Philly gets the win here. They beat the Pittsburgh Steelers by two scores.

Final score prediction: Eagles 34 – Steelers 24

Week 16 – Eagles at Washington Commanders

Sunday, December 22 at 1:00 PM EST
FedEx Field

Here’s what we think. After Washington lost to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia in back-to-back weeks, they bounced back with wins against the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints.

That would mean the Eagles and Commanders meet in Week 16 with respective records of 11-3 and 10-4. That makes this a battle for first place in the NFC East, one that Philly wins to complete the season sweep.

Final score prediction: Eagles 23- Commanders 27

Week 17 – Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys

Sunday, December 29 at 4:25 PM EST
Lincoln Financial Field

Looks like Rayne Dakota Prescott is done for the season. With that, the Dallas Cowboys season is now about planning for the future.

We’d rather Philly not take it easy and run up the score. Do you remember January 2022?

Philly completes season sweep here. That brings their NFC East record to 5-0 with one game to play in the regular season.

Oh yes! We can definitely dig it! How about you?

Final score prediction: Eagles 20 – Cowboys 27

Week 18 – Eagles vs New York Giants

TBD
Lincoln Financial Field

We know these two rivals meet in the regular season finale. We just don’t know the date and time yet. However, we feel comfortable anticipating an outcome.

The Eagles are wearing their all-black jerseys, an ensemble they have yet to lose in while playing the G-Men. Unlike last season, the regular season finale ends on a high note and crowns the Eagles as NFC East Champions!

Final score prediction: Eagles 31 – Giants 10

Eagles 2024 – 2025 regular season final record:13-4
Result: NFC East Winners – The second seeded playoff team in the NFC
