Williams was forced serves a two-game suspension after violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances, which has kept him out for several weeks. However, the Alabama product is primed and ready to go on Sunday night.

While Goff played at an MVP level this season, it wasn’t reflected in his fantasy numbers last week, as Goff threw for just 145 yards and one touchdown, but the weather conditions were poor.

The only real concern for Williams this week is rust after sitting out the last two games, but that’s not enough to suggest sitting him. In fact, the Lions are likely to try to feed him early and often put him on his feet.

The matchup is a good one as the Texans concede sixth fantasy points and second-most touchdowns per game among wide receivers.

Williams is a strong play WR2 this week.

The problem with Goff on a weekly basis is that the Lions like to run the football; and who can blame them with the two talented running backs they have?

But this matchup with the Texans gives Goff a strong fantasy opportunity. Houston surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks

Of course, Houston currently has the third-best pass defense in the NFL, but the Texans also faced a weak group of quarterbacks overall through nine games. We’re not worried about Goff tonight.
