A Jefferson County man sentenced for his role in a large-scale drug trafficking conspiracy will remain in prison while two other federal cases against him go to trial.

Nicholas “Nick” Rogers, 31, of Pine Bluff, was indicted on Nov. 11, 2022, on two counts involving two rap-inspired street gangs based in Pine Bluff — the Every Body Killas (known and as “EBK”) and the Loady Murder Mobb — who authorities said are responsible for violence and drug trafficking in and around central Arkansas. Rogers was also indicted nearly five months earlier for being a felon in possession of a firearm in connection with an October 2020 arrest in Pulaski County.

On Friday, Rogers, who has been in federal custody for just over 25 months, was escorted into federal court to be sentenced by the US.
