Police arrest Lebanon high school teacher in child pornography investigation

LEBANON, MO (KY3) – Police have arrested a Lebanon high school teacher charged in a child pornography investigation.

Marcella Cadle faces multiple charges, including possession of child pornography, providing pornographic material to a minor and fourth-degree assault. A judge ordered her held without bail.

Police responded to the 700 block of Brice Street in reference to allegations of sending pornography to minors. Following the investigation, Cadle, a high school teacher from Lebanon, was arrested.

Police believed he had exchanged the material with a student. The student told police he tried to resist, but Cadle became more persistent.

Police say Lebanon R-III School District officials are cooperating with the investigation. The Lebanon Police Department encourages citizens to promptly report to local police anyone who attempts to engage in unwanted, inappropriate or sexual communications with children.

Cadle teaches at the agriculture department.
