Whitening has been given quite a revival thanks to The Thousand Year Blood War finally getting the anime treatment. While Ichigo Kurosaki and Soul Society battle the Wandenreich on the small screen, there are other avenues in which the Shinigami draw their swords. In the past, Warner Bros. Japan has created a live-action Whitening movie that tried to summarize Ichigo’s first adventures and first encounters with Hollows and Soul Society. Now, Japan is once again giving the supernatural shonen heroes a live-action project arriving in 2025, sharing a new poster that highlights the biggest characters from “Musical Rock Bleach“.

The future live-action musical will be in good company when it comes to live-action anime adaptations. In recent years, anime fans in the West have been able to see people like death note and Attack on Titan not only bring their stories to the stage, but also give them some musical beats that create a new kind of anime story. In Japan, countless anime franchises have received live-action, musical, and other plays, including Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, Demon Slayerand countless others. With many shows finding their way to the West in recent years, there is a possibility that bleaching the upcoming musical will one day make its way to North America.

The arrancar with bat

If you’re not familiar with the Arrancar, the group was considered one of the biggest threats to Soul Society in Bleach history. Just as Shinigami were once humans who became part of Soul Society, Arrancar were Hollow who were able to remove their masks and become beings very similar to Soul Reapers. One of the greatest arcs of the shonen franchise involved Ichigo and company fighting this supernatural threat, trying to save Orihime from their clutches, in a similar way to Rukia fighting Soul Society earlier in the series.

Of the many members that were part of the Arrancar, the energetic Grimmjow has become a fan favoritehaving a personality that worked quite well against Ichigo. In the latest episode of Bleach: The Thousand Year Blood WarGrimmjow is back in the spotlight, revealing himself for the first time since the start of the latest series. With Yhwach absorbing the full power of the Soul King, Ichigo and his companions will need all the help they can get.

bleaching Live-action return

For those in Japan or wanting to make the trip to see Arrancar, Rock Musical Bleach will run from February 8th to February 24th next year at the Tennozu Galaxy Theater in Tokyo. After this initial run, the second set of shows will arrive from March 1st to March 9th at Cool Japan Park Osaka. As of this writing, there are no shows scheduled for North America, but that could always change as the anime continues to grow in popularity.

bleaching the post-Blood War future is a mystery to anime fansas creator Tite Kubo ended the original manga once the fight against Yhwach ended. While Kubo would return to create a new manga chapter in Bleach: No Breath From HellThe mangaka has yet to confirm whether he will be working on additional Soul Society projects in the future. If this latest anime adaptation is the end of Bleach, Soul Society has had an exceptionally good run.
