AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – One person is dead after a single vehicle crash on the Gordon Freeway entrance ramp to I-520.

Sunday, the Richmond County Coroner’s Office says the vehicle ran off the eastbound ramp into the wooded area and then overturned.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:30 p.m., according to the coroner.

The victim’s name will be released when next of kin are notified.
