Judge slaps feds, government officials with gag order in Diddy criminal case

Sean “Diddy” Combs has won a small victory in court after a judge slapped down federal agents suspected of leaking information in case of sex trafficking.

Diddy’s lawyers had sought a gag order for the feds after The Post detailed the embattled musician’s alleged depraved “Freak Offs,” and quoted a federal law enforcement source involved in the investigation as calling the orgies a “sick problem.”

In response, Manhattan federal judge Arun Subramanian issued an order late Friday warning federal prosecutors and other law enforcement officials working on the case to abide by existing laws that prohibit them from releasing any grand jury or other non- public that could affect a fair trial.

“Those remarks, if made by an agent involved in the investigation or prosecution of this case, are patently improper,” Subramanian wrote.

“To be clear, this order is not based on a finding that there has been any wrongdoing to date, as the court has made no finding at this time regarding (Diddy’s) allegations that information related to the case was leaked.” , Subramanian added.

“The purpose of this order is to ensure that from now on nothing happens that interferes with a fair trial.”

“The court will take appropriate action for any violation of the rules,” he added.

Earlier this month, Diddy’s lawyers requested a hearing in the case on the allegations that Department of Homeland Security agents damning footage from 2016 has been leaked featuring Diddy beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in the lobby of a hotel.

The hearing, which is still ongoing, sought to bar the feds from improperly releasing any additional information from the criminal case to the media.

Combs faces racketeering and sex-trafficking charges stemming from allegations that he ran his Bad Boys Records label as a “criminal enterprise” for more than a decade.

The rapper, who is currently in federal custody in Brooklyn, has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Diddy’s legal team and a spokesperson for the SDNY declined to comment.
