OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – We saw a nice warm up today…highs in the 50’s and some 60’s with lots of sun. We cool down quickly overnight with light winds and clear skies. It will be a chilly start to the day, dress in layers. We start Friday in the mid 30s and climb into the 60s by the afternoon. 63 in Omaha.

While we have a warm weekend in the 60s on Friday and Saturday, we’ll be a bit breezy with gusts in the mid to upper 20s. Take advantage of the heat while it’s here! We will be cooler but less windy on Sunday.

Our next system to watch gets here on Monday…we’ll be on the warmer side Monday and Tuesday with showers likely.

The second half of the system is a bit more up for debate. If it sticks, we will have moisture nearby and we will get cold. This will be a recipe for our first shot at winter weather this season! We’re watching the potential for snow Wednesday afternoon through Thursday…right now there’s a chance, but it’s not set in stone.

Either way, plan for a cool end to the 10-day forecast as highs fall into the 30s.
