Russia’s military said on Tuesday that Ukraine fired long-range US-supplied missiles at a military installation in the Bryansk border region, state media reported, in what would be the first attack since Washington authorized such strikes.

“At 03:25 (0025 GMT), the enemy hit a place in the Bryansk region with six ballistic missiles. According to confirmed data, US-made ATACMS tactical missiles were used,” state media agencies said in a Ministry of Defense statement.

This comes a day after the Biden administration authorized Ukraine to use US-made weapons to strike deeper into Russian territory.
