SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — A South Bend police officer was arrested Sunday morning for an off-duty incident.

David Finn, 35, was arrested and preliminarily charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.

Finn was taken to St. Joseph County.

South Bend police officials say Finn has been relieved of all duties while an investigation is ongoing.

He was sworn into the department in 2022 and has been on restricted duty from an investigation into a separate off-duty incident.
