Martha Stewart’s prison pal slams her for promising $1 million payout, failing to pay the money

Prison “best friend” Martha Stewart has slammed the star for not giving her the $1 million payment she promised while they were behind bars earlier this year.

Lisa Guarino claimed the TV personality expressed how “grateful” she was to have a friend like her in prison and promised to give her $1 million when she was released.

“He told my family they didn’t have to put any more money on my books because he was going to take care of me,” Guarino. said the Daily Mail.

When Guarino, who was staying at FPC Alderson in West Virginia for selling coke to support herself and her family, transferred to another facility, she learned her account was empty.

“I could have killed Martha when I found out she didn’t keep her word. She told my family they didn’t have to put any more money on my books because she was going to take care of me, but she gave me a donut, a big fat zero,” she shared,

“Then my phone privileges were suspended for three months, so I couldn’t ask my family for money. It was hell and I suffered partly because Martha didn’t keep her word.”

He currently lives on limited Social Security, which is about $600 a month, in a $1,900-a-month one-bedroom apartment outside Boston.

Guarino, who claimed she took Stewart under her wing in prison, is unable to work because of her medical condition.

Page Six reached out to Stewart’s rep for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

Stewart served five months in FPC Alderson from October 8, 2004 to March 4, 2005, after being found guilty of felony charges of lying in connection with a stock transaction.

Meanwhile, the interior designer is currently living the best life by promoting it the new Netflix documentary, “Martha,” in which he talked about his time in prison.

In the document, Stewart said he was “taken into solitary confinement for touching an officer.”
