Perez, who also called the 45th and future 47th president a “rapist, a dodging coward,” has been placed on administrative leave while the school district investigates his disorder.

“It’s time for the school district to stop tolerating hate speech in the classroom, there should be zero tolerance for hate speech,” one mother argued, according to a video shared online by an education activist. Corey DeAngelis.

“To say a Hispanic man wants to be white…I’m offended. Yo soy Mexicana. I am Chicana. I am indigenous and my family voted for Trump.. (the teacher) should be fired.. You are on notice,” she said.

One father called out students who offered their support to Perez after the teacher directed his comments at the Hispanic population, which makes up 75 percent of the student population of the school district.

“What (Mr. Perez) just did was make the most racist comment, tell them that their fathers, that if they voted for Trump, that they only did it because they wish they were white. This is the worst of all. Shame on him,” said the father.

“He said things that should never have been said. He used profane language.. He has a right to say those things, but not in our schools. That was just crossing the line … there has to be some major consequences.”

The embattled professor went on to claim that Vice President Kamala Harris lost to Trump because she has a “vagina and uterus” and “melanin” and admitted she cried for a week when she replaced Joe Biden on the ballot from July.

“Donald Trump won … because black men and black men didn’t show up to vote for Kamala Harris,” Perez reportedly said. “I know a lot of Latino men on this campus who love Donald Trump and he called their mothers rapists. He called their fathers rapists…and they voted for him.”

“I know a lot of Latino men who wish they were white and would never recognize you,” he added. “Many of your parents. Many of your uncles. Many of your grandparents. God, they want to be white so bad, but they never will be. I hate this shit. I hate Latino men who stop the women in their family, their own daughters”

Students supporting Perez shared positive experiences they had with the educator, with one claiming her life was saved by the teacher during a battle with mental health issues, while another asked if her teacher would be fired for his sole disgust.

“I think the way he approached it was a little unprofessional,” student Ezell Moreno said before the board meeting, according to for the LA Times. “I think he had good faith, but is he going to be fired for one incident when he has done so many good things throughout his time as a teacher?”

Another student argued that Perez never forced his beliefs on students, with others asking the school board to keep the teacher on because he is a “pivotal figure.”

“(He) is a pivotal figure to many students here, not only as an educator, but also as a mentor, supporter and guide through some of the most challenging times in our lives,” said student Damian Ayonn.
