Days after the police reported a complaint of a death threat received by Independent MP Pappu Yadav from Purnea in Bihar, allegedly from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, a Shiv Sena leader in Haryana now claims to have received a call of similar threat from notorious gang members.

According to published information, the Shiv Sena leader claimed to have received a call from a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang demanding a share in his business. Singh said the appellant identified himself as Rohit Godara and asked for a share in his business.

“Complaint filed, investigation ongoing”

In a complaint filed by Shiv Sena’s Haryana in-charge Vikram Singh, the police said they are currently investigating the case. Singh reported that he received a WhatsApp call from a number in the UK on November 11 at around 3 pm during which the caller, allegedly linked to the Bishnoi gang, threatened him.

“They gave me a day and threatened me that if I don’t give a part of my business, they will kill me,” Singh stated in his complaint.

“If something unpleasant happens to me…”

Following the incident, the Shiv Sena leader said that if anything untoward happens to him or his family, the BJP government will be held responsible.
