Kouija Miura’s award-winning manga series Ao no Hako serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump has released a new TV anime trip on October 3rd. Weekly episodes of the wholesome dramedy expand Netflix’s anime catalog internationally alongside ongoing ones. Dan Yes Dan simulcast and Sakamoto days‘addition still until the premiere.

Taiki Inomata, a first-year student at Eimei Academy – a powerhouse in the sport – has big dreams of qualifying for the badminton nationals, a thriving reality in the making. At the same time, his sincere feelings for star basketball player Chinatsu Kano cross their paths with a plot twist that sets everything in motion. Blue Box Episode 7, released this week, will once again capture the two and other supporting characters balancing sports careers, school, feelings and life in general.

Listed for a total of 25 episodes, combining two back-to-back runs of the sports anime, the Telecom Animation Film production features Hige Dandism’s “Same Blue” as its opening theme. The 20+ minute episodes end with the ending theme song “Teenage Blue” by Eve. The next episode of “Can I Have One” will be out in two days. Blue Box / Ao no Hako episodes air in Japan on local networks JNN and TBS, while Netflix streams the weekly anime premieres for international audiences every Thursday.

What to expect from Blue Box Episode 7?

Episode 6, “Wish Me Luck”, focused specifically on Hina’s perspective. Even though she doesn’t explicitly explain her feelings for Taiki, it is understood how she really feels about him. Her new feelings further complicate the mounting pressure surrounding her gymnastics competition. The next episode is expected to pick up from there as the sports anime delves more into the potential love triangle developing between Hina, Taiki and Chinatsu as all of their true hidden feelings come to the fore.
