Police find fentanyl and marijuana in drug traffic

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – Two men are facing charges following an incident where police seized a large amount of fentanyl at a home.

Officers from the London Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit also found other contraband while executing a search warrant at a home.

Brian Hubbard, 60, of London was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree – first offense (fentanyl), trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree – first offense (greater than or equal to two grams of methamphetamine), trafficking in a controlled substance in the third degree – first offense (greater than or equal to 20 but less than or equal to 120 DU of unspecified drug), trafficking in marijuana (less than eight ounces) – first offense and trafficking in a controlled substance in the second degree – first offense (greater than or equal to ten DU Hallucinogen).

Jonathan Hubbard, 44, of London, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree – first offense (greater than or equal to two grams of methamphetamine) and trafficking in marijuana (eight ounces to less than five lbs.) – first offense.

Both men were taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
