ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal Wednesday crash on Interstate-75.

Police were called to an accident that happened near the 71 mile marker in the northbound lane.

Police said a Ford Fusion driven by Sally Broesell, 77, of Berea, was northbound when she lost control, heading into the path of a semi driven by Justin Hillhouse, 26, of Missouri.

Broesell died from injuries sustained in the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hillhouse was not injured in the incident.
