LIVE OAK, Fla. (WCJB) – Law enforcement officers in Live Oak worked together to search a correctional facility.

The search was made at the Suwannee Correctional Institution, where officers found 59 guns, seven cell phones, 19 gallons of homemade alcohol, $300 in cash and drugs ranging from synthetic marijuana to methamphetamine.

Officers said they found contraband during unannounced cell searches and the use of K-9 teams.
