Even though advocate G Arun, appearing for Revanna, has expressed his desire to withdraw the anticipatory bail application on the ground that the charge sheet in question has been filed, the Justice M Nagaprasanna asked how a plea could be withdrawn on the day it was scheduled for orders.

The court also said that it was rejecting Revanna’s anticipatory bail application and that it did not rely on the charge sheet at all.

“You can be sure that not a word of the charge sheet I relied on. Only the complaint. The application was dismissed only on the basis of the complaint and the judgments of the Supreme Court,” The High Court said while rejecting Revanna’s plea.
