The Zepf Center invites the public to a community walk in support of runaway and homeless youth

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Zepf Center Safety Net Shelter is inviting the public to a community walk to help raise awareness of youth in the community who are homeless or have run away from home.

The community walk will be held on November 21st at 5:30pm at the Safety Net shelter located at 2005 Ashland Ave.

The Zepf Center says the following community leaders and partners will be in attendance:

  • Malcolm Cunningham – Director of the Mayor’s Office of Safety and Neighborhood Engagement
  • David Bush – Commissioner for Youth Services
  • Amy LaGesse – Program Director of the Human Trafficking and Social Justice Institute at the University of Toledo
  • Representatives from Toledo Public Schools
