Georgetown Co. Offender. was arrested in connection with the fire investigation

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A Georgetown County man is facing charges after being arrested for the second time this month and the fifth time this year.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that 28-year-old Charles Dylan Lowrimore was arrested again this week in connection with two separate investigations from October.

The first was an arson investigation, when deputies found a car burning in a field on Indian Hut Road.

They also linked Lowrimore to a burglary on Gapway Road in October.

He is now charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of malicious injury to personal property and one count of third-degree arson.

GCSO confirmed that these two incidents are separate from any of his previous charges.

He is being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.

PRIOR ARRESTS

Lowrimore has had several run-ins with the law this year.

In late February, a spectator was struck by a bullet outside 3001 Nightlife, a nightclub in the Myrtle Beach area.

Horry County police named Lowrimore as a suspect and charged with first degree assault, high and aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during a crime of violence.

Authorities arrested Lowrimore again later in March after he he allegedly shot himself with an unregistered gun and allegedly lied about it.

Then in May, the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said Lowrimore was involved in a reported theft on Lamb Road. In this case, the sheriff’s office accused him of pointing and presenting a firearm.

Most recently, Lowrimore was arrested after a chase in which he allegedly drove over 100 miles per hour to outrun deputies.

Deputies later found him passed out on the side of the road and found a gun inside his car.
