Sheriff of Washington Co. looking for information about sexual assault reported at Metzger Park

PORTLAND Hours. (KPTV) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a reported sexual assault that occurred at Metzger Park.

Investigators say the alleged attack happened on September 7 at the park located at 8400 Southwest Hemlock Street in Portland.

According to the report, the woman was walking her dog when she was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as follows:

Aged in his 30s, believed to be of Pacific Islander ethnicity
About 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds with a stocky build
Straight black hair to the nape of the neck, no facial hair
Wear white striped basketball shorts, dark t-shirt, flip flops and backwards baseball cap

The sheriff’s office also released a composite sketch of the suspect.
