“Fox & Friends” immediately reverses its own Trump MSG racism claim

Well, that was quick.

Just a few seconds later The fox and friends co-host Steve Doocy acknowledged “offensive comments about Latinos and Puerto Ricans and African Americans” were made at Donald TrumpMadison Square Garden rally, his colleague Brian Kilmeade attacked journalists for reporting these comments.

The first speaker at Sunday’s rally was comedian and podcaster Tony Hinchcliffe, who made a series of vulgar jokes about the groups the former president’s campaign is trying to attract in the days leading up to choice.

This included a remark that Latinos “love to have babies, you can’t back out, they’re coming in, just like they’re doing with our country.” Hinchliffe also made a comment about black people and watermelons, invoking a long-standing racist trope, and called the US territory of Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean”.

“This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign,” senior adviser Danielle Alvarez said in a statement, addressing Hinchliffe’s comment about Puerto Rico.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) and Reps. María Elvira Salazar and Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) were among Republicans to condemn the masked MAGA show.

Since Monday The fox and friendsDoocy was quick to point out the remarks and note the backlash from inside the GOP.

“There was a comic who made some offensive comments about Latinos and Puerto Ricans and African-Americans and others,” he said, adding that Hinchcliffe has been denounced by some Republicans and that even the Trump campaign has distanced itself from him.

That didn’t stop Kilmeade from immediately going over the whole moment in an instant, jaw-dropping back-pedal.

“It’s amazing, the cover The New York Times“Trump at the Garden: A Closing Carnival of Discontent, Misogyny and Racism,” he said, reading a Times title about the racist remarks at Trump’s rally just seconds after his co-host acknowledged the racist remarks at Trump’s rally. “Just someone who worked for the Harris campaign and (pretended) to be a reporter for The New York Times would write something like that.”

Later in the show, Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told the show that the audience at Madison Square Garden “didn’t mind” Hinchliffe’s jokes.

Most of Hinchliffe’s material fell to the ground and was met with indifference – although some bits elicited groans – in one of the more awkward speeches of the night.

It was an impressive feat, given that Trump supporter David Rem was named vice president Kamala Harris “anti-Christ,” influencer Grant Cardone claimed Harris has “pimps,” and radio personality Sid Rosenberg called him Trump’s 2016 rival. Hillary Clinton a “sick son of a t—-“.
