Police are looking for a man who drove a woman to an area near a Fayetteville apartment complex and sexually assaulted her last week, according to a news release.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, the victim was picked up near the 500 block of South Eastern Boulevard by the driver of a newer model gray Dodge Charger.

The man drove the woman to an area of ​​the Oak Run Apartments off Old Wilmington Road and sexually assaulted her before ordering the victim to exit the vehicle and leave the area, the release said.
