KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Seven-time NASCAR champion Richard Petty is making a stop in Knoxville on Tuesday.

It’s part of Food City’s Paralyzed Veterans of America fundraising campaign. The grocery store takes donations to PVA, helping the group help disabled veterans.

Since 2011, Food City has raised over $4 million for PVA. This year, the Middlebrook Pike location raised more than $10,500.

Petty is a spokesperson for the PVA. He will be at Middlebrook Pike Food City from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m
