Busta Rhymes Drops Pic Of 50 Cent’s Jheri Curl After Wild Fry Of Painted Hair

It’s not a real day in hip-hop without a little friendly fire, and this time, it’s 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes who are trading each other.

In a classic case of rappers roasting each other for fun, 50 recently took to social media to poke fun at a resurfaced video of the “Break Ya Neck” rapper’s hairline, teasing the veteran rapper because he turned to permanent hair dye to help keep it. Caesar looking sharp and fresh.

The video was from the summer where the former Leader of the New School artist was taking food from Chef Remone Williams. While the spread looked delicious, many people were distracted by his unusually black and shiny hair.

50 posted an excerpt from the video with legend“No why is this crazy shit going on and (ninja emoji) not saying anything. I think @fatjoe, Khaled and Tyson need to step in here. Lol WTF.”

The second slide in his post featured an image of Joe, Khaled and male model and actor Tyson Beckford on the cover of Rewind It men’s hair color and beard boxes.

But he didn’t stop there. The troll king of the internet provided several comments on the video to add his own level of shadow comedy “power”.

“You’re out of line, Yo. How does Busta paint his whole head like that, he asked. “Ne-ga Spliff Star, you’re trying to act like your friend Busta… How the hell did you let him go out looking like that, eh?”

“No,” he chuckled. “No, son.”

“What the hell is going on here?” he continued. “No, man. f—k this? Why do I always have to be the one to say something, man?

Within two hours, the video had racked up over 70,000 likes and people were venting at the expense of the Native Tongue affiliate. One person even joked that the Dungeon Dragon “looked like a mini Jermaine Jackson.”

Someone else joked in the comments, “What is that sharpie line and fill? Is that what rich rappers do now?”

Celebs like Swizz Beatz, Babs Bunny, Peter Gunz, Naughty by Nature’s Vin Rock, Waka Flocka and more flooded the comments section, shouting out their peers.

When The Neighborhood Talk POSTED 50 Cent’s funny joke, their 1.9 million followers chimed in.

“Dripmode Squad,” joked one fan. Someone else wrote: “Top quality shoe work,” referring to the dark paint.

A third comment said: “Not much about the Legend…. but who really approved this! Someone better call Spliff Star!!!!! We have questions!” Another came to the rapper’s defense, “Leave Busta Rhymes alone.”

But Busta isn’t like the other people who 50 taunts online. He’s from Brooklyn, and he also knows how to hack and has some ammo of his own.

While the “In Da Club” rapper’s mix of humor and side-eye was enough to get his fans going in the comments, he also got a response from the “Arab Money” chart topper.

Known for his larger-than-life personality and quick wit, Busta was quick to clap back, offering a few choice words and his own post to remind the “BMF” show creator that his jokes weren’t about to go unanswered.

He found a dated picture by 50 Cent from 2011, when he was swinging open an S-Curl on red carpets while promoting his movie, “Freelancers.”

12-time Grammy nominated artist he wrote on his Instagram page, “WHEN THIS GUY DOESN’T ANYONE DO ANYTHING?? WHAT KIND OF ADVICE DO YOU LISTEN TO ON BRUH??? WHAT THE F-CK OUT OF 100 SH-T TCB GEL BOTTLE IS MY N-GGA?? @50 cents COME ON MAN!! BY THE WAY FIF THIS SH-T LOOKS LIKE YOU JERRY CURL CAN TOO BRUDDAH!!”

Fans were equally amused.

“Damn Busta said Nxgga and I’m mean,” one person stated, as radio host Ebro wrote, “Someone said ‘Fifty Centavo’!!! And I can’t breathe.”

Others then posted GIFs that read “Just Let Your Soul Glow,” from the legendary Jheri curls scene from the movie “Coming to America.”

The playful banter gave fans a fun look at the light-hearted rivalry between two legends who have known each other for decades.

Early in their careers, 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes were both managed by Chris Lighty’s Violator Management, a cavalier entertainment company closely responsible for the success of artists such as Mobb Deep, Missy Elliott and LL Cool J.

The management company disbanded after Lighty’s death in 2012, a tragic event that rocked the hip-hop world and was labeled a death by suicide, although many doubted that was the case.

It’s the kind of rap beef that isn’t beef at all — just two icons keeping it real while giving their followers something to laugh about.
