A Monroe County man is facing multiple charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two minors in Erie County.

In October, Ahmed Yaqoob, 24, drove from Greece to North Collins and picked up two girls, ages 12 and 14, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.

He then allegedly drove to a remote area of ​​Concord where he sexually abused both children.

Yaqoob was arrested on Friday and charged with sexual assault on a child under 13 and two counts of rape.

He remains in custody after being arraigned and jailed on $25,000 bail, deputies said.
