TEXAS (KAUZ) – The Governor’s Office announced that Greg Abbott has directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to activate emergency response resources ahead of the potential impacts of severe storms.

At the direction of Governor Abbott, TDEM deployed the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service Swiftwater Rescue Boat Teams to assist with flood rescues.
