Four people arrested by JPD for business theft, other crimes

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Four people have been arrested by the Jackson Police Department for business burglaries, among other crimes.

The Jackson Police Department’s Unit Two Precinct responded Thursday to 3645 Metro Center Drive in reference to a burglary in progress.

After receiving a description of the suspects and the suspect’s vehicle, officers were able to apprehend them on the upper level loading dock.

The suspects forced their way into the building on the lower level of the Burlington department store.

The vehicle used in the crime was a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado truck with a switch tag.

Inside the vehicle were weapons, burglary tools and copper wire.

Four suspects were taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for questioning.

According to JPD, after the interview, the four suspects were booked into jail on the following charges:

William Floyd

  • Theft in business
  • Possession of burglary tools
  • Convicted of murder with a firearm

Johnny Nathan Henry

  • Theft in business
  • Possession of burglary tools
  • Convicted of murder with a firearm
  • 2 active warrants for business theft

Rachael Stepp

  • Theft in business
  • Possession of burglary tools
  • Convicted of murder with a firearm

Zack Williams

  • Theft in business
  • Possession of burglary tools
