Nov. 15 — A Decatur man was arrested after police searched a home in the 1400 block of 16th Avenue Southeast on Thursday and found fentanyl and marijuana, according to the Decatur Police Department.

Samuel Shawn Taylor, 23, is charged with two counts of drug trafficking, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. He remained in the Morgan County Jail Friday in lieu of $150,600 bail.

The arrest stemmed from an October investigation by DPD’s Vice/Narcotics Unit into drug sales. Police said the complaints led them to develop Taylor as a suspect.

Decatur Police thanked the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit for their assistance.
