Los Angeles goes crazy as the city celebrates the Dodgers winning the World Series

Los Angeles was ready to party Wednesday night.

After the Dodgers won their second World Series in five years with a thrilling 7-6 Game 5 victory over the Yankees on the East Coast, the city on the other side of the country went crazy – with fireworks going off and fans taking to the streets.

Fox’s broadcast showed at least one traffic-covered stretch of Los Angeles shooting off fireworks in the middle of the street, a scene that appears to have played out in several different parts of the city, according to live video and photos.
