Welcome to Southern California News Group’s high school football score updates for Friday, November 15.

We’ll have updates from around the area, including highlights from our large group of game reporters.

CIF-SS QUARTERS

DIVISION 1

Final: Mater Dei 33, Sierra Canyon 13

Mater Dei running back Jordon Davison (Oregon commit) had more than 100 rushing yards. The Monarchs will play at Centennial in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 semifinals.

Final: Centennial 25, Mission Viejo 20

Centennial senior quarterback Husan Longstreet (Texas A&M commit) scored on a 10-yard touchdown run to put the Huskies up 25-20 late in the third quarter. Centenary snapped Mission Viejo’s 18-game winning streak dating back to October 2023. Centennial will host Mater Dei in the Division 1 semifinals. The Huskies lost 42-25 at Mater Dei on Aug. 22.

Final: Orange Lutheran 42, JSerra 20

Orange Lutheran led 28-0 at halftime. The Lancers will play at St. John Bosco in the Division 1 semi-finals.

Final: St. John Bosco 31, Santa Margarita 29

St. John Bosco trailed 23-10 in the third quarter before coming back to lead comeback win. The Braves will host Orange Lutheran in the Division 1 semifinals.

DIVISION 2

Final: Murrieta Valley 49, Los Alamitos 28

Murrieta Valley will host Oaks Christian in the Division 2 semifinals.

Final: Oaks Christian 35, San Juan Hills 21

Final: Yorba Linda 24, Serra 20

Yorba Linda’s defense recovered a fumble with 59 seconds left in the game. Cole Nero had two rushing touchdowns.

Final: Newbury Park 24, San Clemente 13

Newbury Park quarterback Brady Smigiel (Florida State commit) threw for 210 yards with two total touchdowns (one passing, one rushing).

DIVISION 3

Final: Simi Valley 41, La Habra 34

Simi Valley it was 34-24 at halftime, but scored 17 unanswered points in the second half to win the game.

Final: Loyola 23, Crean Lutheran 20, OT

Final: Edison 24, Bonita 0

Edison running back Julius Gillick had 79 rushing yards and a touchdown in the first half. Edison will play at Vista Murrieta in the Division 3 semifinals. Bonita finished 11-1.

Final: Vista Murrieta 21, Cajon 0

Devon Leonard’s 4-yard touchdown run gave Vista Murrieta a 21-0 lead with 3:22 left in the fourth quarter. Vista Murrieta will host Edison in the Division 3 semifinals.

DIVISION 4

Final: St. Bonaventura 34, Redondo Union 20

Final: Apple Valley 48, Culver City 28

Final: Oxnard Pacifica 45, Long Beach Poly 41

Long Beach Poly led 41-24 in the fourth quarter. Pacifica rallied and scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to win the game.

Final: Thousand Oaks 21, El Modena 14

Thousand Oaks’ Justin Lewis had 142 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries.

DIVISION 5

Final: Summit 45, Huntington Beach 14

Final: La Serna 56, Rio Mesa 35

Final: Foothill 38, Lakewood 35

Foothill led 35-14 in the third quarter and held on to advance to the Division 5 semifinals.

Final: Palos Verdes 27, Mayfair 13

Palos Verdes quarterback Ryan Rakowski went 6-6 for 99 yards in the first half.

DIVISION 6

Final: St. Francis 28, Muir 27

St. Francis sought and found redemption after Muir beat them 28-18 in a non-league game on September 13.

Final: Murrieta Mesa 19, Northwood 10

Final: Glendora 31, Rancho Verde 13

Glendora scored 24 unanswered points in the second half to win the game.

Final: Dana Hills 38, San Dimas 35

Dana Hills kicker Devin Zudrewer kicked the game-winning 20-yard field goal as time expired.

DIVISION 7

Final: West Torrance 44 at Oak Park 28

Final: Rio Hondo Prep 28, King 7

Final: Warren 40, Golden Valley 14

Warren scored 33 unanswered points in the second half. Warren

Final: Peninsula 7, Yucaipa 3

Yucaipa led 3-0 at halftime. Peninsula quarterback Mario Ruggiero threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Hudson Meyer to go up 7-3 in the fourth quarter.

Final: Salesian 20, Irvine 10

Final: St. Pius X-St. Matthias 23, Segerstrom 22

St. Pius X-St. Matthias improved to 3-9 overall.

DIVISION 9

Final: Highland 42, Burbank 28

Highland scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to win the game.

Final: Quartz Hill 55, Sonora 34

Quartz Hill scored 34 points in the second quarter.

Final: Wilson 19, Village Christian 17

Wilson is in the playoffs for the first time since 2019.

Narbonne quarterback Jaden O’Neal (Oklahoma commit) had four total touchdowns (two rushing, two passing).

Final: Birmingham 42, Gardena 19

Birmingham is on a six-game winning streak.

Final: San Pedro 37, Banning 26

San Pedro defeated Banning for the second time this season.

Final: Carson 27, Garfield 17

Carson will play Marine League rival San Pedro in the Open Division semifinals. Carson beat San Pedro 31-20 on October 4th.
