‘The Voice’ season 11 winner shot at Texas Ranch, airlifted to hospital

Country singer Sundance Headwho won season 11 of The voice in 2016, he was airlifted to a hospital after being shot on his ranch in Texas.

sundance agent, Trey Newman reported the news to TMZthat the 46-year-old country singer, whose birth name is Jason Head, is recovering in a hospital in Tyler, Texas.

In fact, the report goes on to say that Sundance was able to call 911 himself following the shooting and when paramedics arrived, they were able to stabilize Sundance for flight to the hospital.

From this report, the shooting is being ruled an accident, possibly a hunting accident, but it’s unclear exactly what happened.

Newman went on to report that Sundance’s wife Misty said the bullet missed her husband’s vital organs and lodged in a fatty area of his stomach, but then Misty made this Facebook post:

“The doctor just called me the bullet entered above his navel and lodged in the abdominal wall, missing all vital organs. It won’t require surgery because they don’t remove the bullet. I’m sure she said why, but my head is in a fog now. Being on the bigger side was a good thing. The bullet is in his fatty tissue. Thanks for all the prayers.

“Prayer Warriors we need you all. This is Misty – I don’t have much info but please keep Sundance in your prayers. Sundance ran away with a gunshot wound to the stomach, according to the paramedics who called me. They told me that once he lands, he will be operated on immediately. They made him stable for flight (according to the paramedic) Now we’re on our way to Tyler. . Again, this is the only information I have at the time. Please keep him in your prayers.”

Earlier in the day, Sundance posted a photo of a tent with the caption, “Woke up this morning to the sound of silence,” which is why it’s being considered a possible hunting accident.

Sundance won the 11th season of The voice as a member of Blake Sheltonhis team and the funny thing is he used all 10 votes for someone else.

“I didn’t think I was going to win because We and Billy Gilman we had so many thousands of people on social media on all platforms and I really misjudged the whole process to be honest with you,” the Texas native said.
