Missing 11-year-old girl from Henderson County may be seen walking on Highway 175

HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) – An Amber Alert was issued Friday for an 11-year-old girl believed to have been abducted by an unknown person, according to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office.

Mia James was last seen wearing a green yellow hoodie with the words ‘venom’ written in glitter and black shorts. She is described as being 5′6″ tall and 98 pounds.

Authorities said she left her home on CR 3925, just north of Athens, and is believed to have then been picked up by an unknown person. Additionally, on Friday, November 15, Sheriff Botie Hillhouse reported that Mia was seen Thursday on Hwy 175 West, heading west toward Eustace. She was seen near Life Fellowship Church walking alone around 5:45 p.m.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating James. If you have information on her whereabouts, call the sheriff’s office immediately at (903) 675-5128.
