Black Ops 6 Zombies Terminus Easter Egg

Want to complete the Terminus Easter Egg in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies? Black Ops 6 has a wide range of secrets on both Zombies maps, and the size and scale of Terminus means you’ve got quite a lot to do if you want to complete the main easter egg. As well as building the Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon, you’ll need to roam the map to find nodes, smash satellites and face some truly horrific undead abominations, including Patient 13 – a real pain of a final boss.

For anyone struggling to complete these objectives during a match, I’ve outlined them below for your viewing convenience. In this guide, we’ll tell you exactly what to do complete the main easter egg in the Terminus map of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies.

How to complete the Terminus Easter Egg in Black Ops 6

You will need to complete the following objectives to complete the Terminus Easter Egg. Click on the goal to be taken to that section of the guide:

Create Beamsmasher

The DRI-11 Beamsmasher it is the Wonder Weapon of Terminus, and it is indeed a truly wonderful piece of work. Fires a continuous beam that will obliterate anything in your path, but it takes a hell of a long time to do. We’ve created a special guide dedicated to finding this big gun for anyone who wants to prioritize it first, so head over to our comprehensive look at how to create Beamsmasher.

Save Nathan

Once the Beamsmasher is in your hands, it’s time to get a missing one Hard drivewhich can be found at one of the Tentacle traps scattered on the map. You may have come across them when looking for Beamsmasher components – they’re basically grates in the ceiling that contain nasty hooks that will come down and attack you if you’re standing underneath. Keep an eye out for a tentacle trap that has been broken with a card and blood splattered on the floor below it. Once you find this trap and activate it, shoot the tentacle table with the Beamsmasher to make it drop the hard drive. See the following maps and location descriptions if you’re not sure where the tentacle traps are:

  • Near the spawn point near the first AMP generator
  • Next to the Jugger-Nog machine
  • In the Southwest Bio Lab
  • In the Southeast Bio Lab

Take the hard drive back to the guard station where Peck is and put it in the storage slot. Peck then gives you instructions to go to the Bio Lab and interact with the main central room. Doing so reveals Nathan Aguinaldoa truly tragic character and the brother of my favorite Operator, Maya Aguinaldo. If you play as Maya in this segment, you’ll get a lot of interesting dialogue that adds to the overall story of Zombies.

Rescuing Nathan from the Bio Lab’s prison requires finding a three-digit keypad code scattered throughout Terminus. The code is randomized for each game and is hidden in some pretty obscure places. You will need to look in the following three locations:

  • Check it out clock behind the gate in the Interrogation Room in the quadrant E4. The hour is the first digit of the code.

  • This watch's hours announcement contains a digit needed for a code in Black Ops 6's Terminus map.
Pay attention to the shorter hand. We’re looking at a 7 here. | Image credit: IGN/Activision
  • go to newsletter board near the Mess Hall door in the quadrant E5 and look at the playbook. The number on the card is the second digit of the code. If it is an Ace, the number is 1.

  • This card contains a digit needed for a code in Black Ops 6's Terminus map.

  • In the engineering room in the dial F5check the sign that says “Days since the last injury.” The number there is the third digit of the code.

  • This security token contains a digit needed for a code in Black Ops 6's Terminus map.

Return to the Bio Lab, enter all three numbers into Nathan’s cell, and then turn the valves to free him. Unfortunately, after his release, you will see that Nathan is not in the best of states. In fact, he turned into a creepy undead Amalgam and will start a boss fight against him. You’ll be stuck in the Bio Lab as this fight goes on, and the best way to take Nathan out is to shoot the area and aim fire at the weak points on his body. Lots of zombies will appear to distract you, but if you focus on Nathan, he will soon meet his tragic end.

Find Node Connectors

After the fight with Nathan, dive into the Bio Lab water and swim down until you find a card. Take it to the comms room (south of where you find the Stamin-Up) and use it on the computer on the top floor. You will receive an error message along with a missive from Peck to go to the Wreck on the map to find Node connectors.

You’ll need to jump into a boat to head to the Wreck. Circle around the middle of the boat until you see a hole that serves as an entrance; enter and then climb the ladder to enter a room with two node connectors. Once you pick them up, the camera goes into lock and a wave of zombies appear. Once they’ve been destroyed, you’ll need to visit three different locations to plug into the Node Connectors. One of these locations will already have a random node connector; in which case you move on to the next one. Refer to the following maps and descriptions to find the locations, which are as follows:

  • In the dial D7 on the South Island, directly opposite the workbench.
  • In the dial E5 near the cave entrance where you can find Speed Cola; look for the right wall.
  • In the dial F6right under one of the legs of the Sea Tower.

Hack water satellites

With the node connectors in place, return to the Guard Station to get the next directive from Peck. You will get one Hacking devicewhich you must take to the Docks. Here you have to leave with a boat and look for three Water satellites. Each boat is full of Parasite enemies and you will need to defeat them to start hacking. You also have to hack all three satellites within two minutes of each other or risk having to do it all over again. A tentacled enemy will also attack if you stay in the water too long, so be quick. Water satellites should be hidden in the dials D7, E2and G6 – You can also check your map to see where the Parasites are congregating to give you a good idea of where they are.

As soon as you hack the third satellite, rush back to the Bio Lab. You have to disable three warheads before they explode and you only have five minutes to do so before Terminus explodes. This is probably the most painful part of the easter egg, aside from the final boss battle. Explosive spikes look like purple coils hidden in the wall, and you have to stand still to defuse them while the zombies spawn on top of you. If you have good teammates, hopefully this will be a less anxious experience. If not, try using smoke grenades to set up a cloud of smoke near each bomb, giving you some uninterrupted breathing room.

Defeat patient 13

Finally, it’s time for the big bad final boss fight – Patient 13. The boss arena will open once all players have signed up and you’ll be faced with an absolute monstrosity. Fighting Patient 13 is a tough affair with flashy weak spots that change throughout the fight. Early on, his weak spots are on both shoulders, and it’s a good idea to duck behind boxes for area cover while shooting. Ideally, you can have allies distract Patient 13 while you do this, and it really helps to have someone with a Chopper Gunner on hand.

When the weak points of the shoulders are removed, a wave of zombies will appear and poison will flood the arena. To reduce the poison, shoot the tentacles outside the arena. Eventually, Patient 13 will reappear, and his weak point has now moved to his tentacles. Once enough damage has been done, the weak point will move to Patient 13’s mouth. When you blast the mouth into oblivion, Patient 13 disappears again and a new wave of zombies appear full of Amalgams and Manglers.

When you’ve dealt with the wave, Patient 13 respawns one last time and the arena is greatly reduced, leaving you very susceptible to the hordes with only two boxes to hide behind. Time to use the big guns and whatever scorreaks you have. Whenever patient 13 turns bright blue and the screen lights up, go into the water or hide behind the boxes to avoid being fried. Meanwhile, target Patient 13’s new weak points, which will switch between blue eyes and mouth.

The fight is a long one, sure, but once you’ve won and left the match, you’ll get plenty of great rewards, including 5,000 XP and the full Terminus Quest calling card. Maya also gets the cool Trophy Collector Operator skin – not the best reward for having to shoot her brother in the face, but it sure looks cool.
