Joint forces today (November 15) arrested 26 people, including several top drug dealers, from the Millat camp area adjacent to Mirpur-11 in Dhaka.

Some of the arrested have been identified as Mr. Hafiz, Mr. Rabbi Gazi, Mr. Karim, Razia Begum, Ms. Bizli and Dipa Akhter, according to a press release issued by the ISPR.

They were arrested in an operation conducted by the joint force of Bangladesh Army, police and Rapid Action Battalion.

During the operation, joint forces seized ganja, heroin, knives, machetes and cash from the arrested.

The arrested are accused in several drug cases filed at the Pallabi Police Station, according to the ISPR press release. They have been handed over to the Pallabi Police for questioning and completion of legal processes.
