Hassan Ali was found dead at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Sumbawanga, with the police turning up as soon as possible.

Police Commander Simon Maigwa confirmed the report as he and his officers found the body cold and lifeless on the ground.

“We received a call from good samaritans who said they saw the body of a grown man. Once on the scene, I called the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the forensics department. I request the public to cooperate with us. , and anyone who has information about Hassan’s death, please let us know,” he said.

One of the children of the deceased claimed his his father left him a decade ago while moving in with another woman.

A few days ago, 40-year-old Hassan arrived at the home of his first family, asking his first wife to allow him to see his children.

However, his wife sent him to pack because it was late at night and they were sleeping, asking him to come another time.

Juma Ngaina Musuya, a resident, said he learned of the painful news of the man’s death through a phone call.

“I was informed about the situation and the caller told me that I could meet the deceased. When I arrived, I didn’t recognize the man. The assembled people identified Hassan differently. Others identified him as a worker in the city, while others identified him as a family man,” he said, adding that this is the second time the area has received such news of death.

Separately, Silas Ndosi, aged 38 he accompanied his peers to a funeral near their home in Shanghai, Arusha.

He was found dead the next morning, November 12; bruises were visible on his body, with blood pouring from his nose, mouth and ears.

Police removed the body to the mortuary while an investigation into the death began; the man was going through a divorce at the time of his death.
