Podcast host Joe Rogan said many unexpected sources thanked him privately for endorsing President-elect Trump in the 11th hour before his election victory.

In the wake of the election in which Trump won both the electoral college and the popular vote, many have talked about the power of podcasts to influence young people’s votes across multiple racial groups to support Trump.

The host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” spoke Wednesday about how much backlash he received for criticizing Harris.

“A lot of what people are saying, they’re saying it because they don’t want people to attack them. They’re saying it because I think if they say it, it’ll clear them up, they’ll be fine,” Rogan said. “If you say you stand for x – you might not even stand for x – but if you say you stand for x, you won’t be attacked and the right people will leave you alone or agree with you and I appreciate or praise you.”

Rogan then said that many creators and groups associated with liberal movements in the past have been silent supporters of Trump.

“There’s a lot of that out there. There are many people who do not speak their mind. You know a lot of artists that have come to me and are like hippies, man, like the artists, like the musicians. , comedians who thanked me for supporting Trump because I can’t do that?” he said.

Rogan endorsed Trump the night before the election, citing his interview with billionaire X owner and Trump supporter Elon Musk that was released that day.
