Ceasefire campaign

Pastor Ransey O’Daniel with Christ Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa is part of the “Ceasefire Campaign,” which is a joint effort between local churches and Tuscaloosa police to get people to lay down their guns.

They have a long list of priority items, from community watch programs to neighborhood watch programs and more education about gun laws. They want to give young people positive role models.

In recent months, we’ve seen the “Cease Fire Campaign” in action, going door to door to talk to people and city-wide revivals to try to stop this.
