Art picks: Expressions Through Art exhibitions, the inaugural Objectifs Junior Festival and the Something Strange Festival

Objectifs Photography and Film Center kicks off its inaugural Objectifs Junior Festival just in time for the school holidays, with a week full of experiences and workshops for children interested in the art forms. Theme If You Find… A Leaf follows Lumie, the festival’s mascot, to reunite a fallen leaf with the tree it came from.

A number of free programs and paid goal-based workshops are available during the festival. Activities such as Lumie’s Leaf Hunt will also be available, where children can discover patterns, shapes and textures in leaves while learning to compose visually interesting photos.

The festival weekends of November 16, 17, 23 and 24 will also feature screenings of animated short films by Singaporean filmmakers Renee Chua, Novella, Xue En Ge, Jerrold Chong and Jessica Heng.
