“Our run didn’t go the way we hoped, but let me tell you, I’m so proud of what we’ve built together. This campaign was about more than just winning a seat; it was about defending people. who make this state great, who work hard, who love their families, and who believe in the promise of New York and this nation.

“To every volunteer who knocked on doors, made phone calls and carried this campaign on your shoulders – you are our backbone. We made a valiant effort – we were finally spent $8 million. The fact that we made the Race so close is a testament to all of you. You put your hearts into it and because of you, we made our voices heard, even though we didn’t cross the finish line first, we fought for the values ​​we hold dear I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you.
