A pair of Chiefs will return from Injured Reserve this week, according to the report

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The two-time defending Super Bowl champions have been ravaged by the injury bug this season. However, Kansas City Chiefs remains undefeated and could get healthier soon.

Fox Sports NFL reporter Jordan Schultz posted on social media On Tuesday morning, the Chiefs plan to designate linebacker Isiah Pacheco and defensive lineman Charles Omenihu for returns from Injured Reserve this week.

Pacheco fractured a fibula in the Chiefs’ Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Omenihu suffered a torn ACL in the AFC Championship game win over the Baltimore Ravens.

Wide receiver Marquise Brown was placed on injured reserve early in the season due to a posterior sternoclavicular dislocation in the team’s first preseason game.

Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster missed Sunday’s game against Denver with a hamstring injury that popped up in practice leading into the Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Andy Reid told the media on Monday that Smith-Schuster, Pacheco and Omenihu are all “very close” to returning.
