    Prince George’s County police identify suspect in May homicide

    PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., Md. – Prince George’s County police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a May homicide.

    Police say Fausto Galeano-Soriano, 44, of Riverdale, has been charged with killing Angel Martinez, 53, of Riverdale.

    Martinez was found unresponsive in the road in the 5700 block of Riverdale Road around 5:20 p.m. on May 15.

    PREVIOUS COVERAGE: A shooting victim has died after officers were flagged down along a road in Prince George’s County early Thursday. The incident was reported around 6:45 a.m. when a citizen flagged down patrol officers in the 4800 block of Veterans Parkway in Riverdale.

    He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

    Following an autopsy, the Medical Examiner’s Office said Martinez died of blunt force trauma and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

    Galeano-Soriano is charged with first and second degree murder and related charges. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Homicide Unit detectives at 301-516-2512.
