Kristin Chenoweth shared her perspective on sex trafficking allegations Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The Tony Award winner described the allegations as “really bad,” adding that she’s still praying for the Bad Boy founder, as she promised some time ago.

Broadway legend Chenoweth revealed she’s still praying for Diddy amid his legal troubles.

The 56-year-old had earlier expressed that she would keep the music mogul in her prayers after watching a viral video of him allegedly assaulting his ex Cassandra Ventura in a hotel lobby.

A few months after the video aired, Diddy was indicted and arrested on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for prostitution. He is now being held in a federal facility in New York ahead of his May 2025 trial.

Despite these serious allegations against Diddy, Chenoweth shared with TMZ that her attitude hasn’t changed and that she’s “still praying” for the rapper.

However, the actress admitted that the allegations against Diddy were “very bad”, but did not reveal whether she believed he was guilty.

In May, Chenoweth said she found Diddy’s actions in the assault video “heartbreaking,” as she made a series of tweets to address the clip.

“Honestly, I have my reasons why Sean Combs’ video bothers me so much. The main thing I need to do is pray for him. For real,” she said in one of the tweets, according to Daily Mail.

Unsurprisingly, quite a few people disagreed with Chenoweth about her perspective. However, the actress stood by her issue and also revealed that she will not take down her tweet.

“I can’t erase it,” Chenoweth said in a later post. “Believe me, I was sick when I saw this and so thankful that he was okay. He is NOT. He is sick. He is sick. Only God can forgive him. So forgive me, but this is what I think. And pray. Xo.”

At the time, Chenoweth said that watching Diddy’s video brought back flashbacks of a past attack by a person whose identity she chose to withhold.

“I never wanted to go out with this, but here we are,” she remarked Daily Mail. “A few years ago, I was badly abused. It took therapy and prayer for me to understand that I deserved better.”

The incident left the actress “deeply wounded physically and spiritually” and she claimed her only solace was found in prayer.

Chenoweth continued, “The only thing I knew how to do when I got out was pray. pray for me Pray for him as he grew up abused. So.

She added that the abuse had brought her to the “lowest point” of her life and admitted she still holds a grudge against the perpetrator.

“I have to admit I haven’t forgiven yet. It’s beyond me. God help me get over this,” the “Wicked” star wrote.

Diddy’s lawyer recently made a fourth bail attempt for the rapper

Since Diddy’s arrest in September, he has been denied bail three times, in part because of concerns that he was a flight risk and potential witness intimidation.

However, his lawyers have not yet given up on securing his freedom before trial and recently made a fourth attempt to obtain bail.

In a filing, they argued that similar cases, such as Diddy’s, have involved defendants who have been granted bail, and there is no reason his case should be treated any differently.

The bail proposal from the rapper’s legal team includes a $50 million bond

Diddy’s legal team also proposed a bail package similar to those previously offered in the rapper’s other bail attempts.

That package includes a $50 million bond and several restrictions on the rapper’s movements to prevent him from fleeing or obstructing the case, as federal prosecutors fear.

A decision on this bail attempt has yet to be made, but given the precedent set by the other refusals, it is likely to be rejected.
