CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

The crash happened along Edens Branch Road, just off Route 10.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

According to deputies, the motorcyclist was injured and lost a leg.

The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital.

The chief deputy said preliminary findings and witness statements say the motorcyclist appears to have been speeding.
