PARIS (AP) — France fullback Damian Penaud and flanker Francois Cros have been ruled out of Saturday’s rugby match against New Zealand.

They will not be replaced in coach Fabien Galthie’s 42-man squad for the autumn series, the French Rugby Federation announced on Tuesday.

Penaud, France’s record scorer with 36 tries, missed Saturday’s 52-12 win over Japan through illness.

Cros was substituted at half-time against Japan after a blow to the head.
