WASHINGTON (7News) — Two men were shot and wounded in two separate shootings in Northwest, DC on Monday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Officials said they responded to the block of O Street Northwest, where an attempted robbery turned into a shooting. One man was shot and taken to an area hospital for treatment, officials said.

Police said the man is expected to survive.

A second shooting investigation remains ongoing in the 400 block of Northwest Kennedy Street, where a man was shot.

The man was also taken to an area hospital for treatment, officials said.
