Coach Dan Quinn liked a Washington Commanders trait in the Pittsburgh Steelers game

The Washington Commanders fell just short in a 28-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10 action at NorthWest Stadium in a battle of two teams competing for a playoff spot.

While the Chiefs didn’t come out on the winning end of the score, coach Dan Quinn shared some joy about how his team battled through the game against a shaky Steelers team.

“Yeah, I thought it was going to be hard,” Quinn said. “I mean, I know (head coach) Mike (Tomlin) well, and this is a tough team. And I knew it was going to be a really tough fight, man. i love him I love what he is about. I knew it would be hard. We have a tough crew as well, so I wanted to make sure we established who we were and let’s say we had to prepare for them, but they had to make sure that when we got to the game, they had to deal with and with USA Make sure we played physical and go after him and make tackles. We have a lot of work to do, but from this point of view of effort and mentality, we are winning in this regard. And we’re not where we’re going to be, but we’re gaining from it.”

If the Chiefs are going to make any noise this season, they’re going to have to learn how to play a physical game. They’ve shown signs of it all year, but the game against the Steelers showed they can compete with the best of them.

If the Chiefs can continue to show how physical they can be, Washington can become a real force in the NFC playoff picture.

The Chiefs return to action in Week 11 as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football.
