CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) – The No. 12 Georgetown College Tigers (8-2) defeated the No. 24 Tigers of Campbellsville (8-3), 24-17 in overtime.

The Tigers won the Mid-South Conference title after Bethel defeated Lindsey Wilson in quadruple overtime.

Quarterback Gehrig Slunaker went 15-22 for 174 yards with 1 pass and 1 rushing touchdown. Despite being held to 87 yards on 31 attempts, running back Darius Neal once again made school history by surpassing 3,000 career yards, making him the third Tiger ever to accomplish the feat.

With the Mid-South Conference title clinched, Georgetown now turns its attention to a second straight undefeated conference season. The Tigers will travel to Lindsey Wilson. Kickoff from Columbia, KY is scheduled for 2:00 PM ET next Saturday.
